IN THE EYES OF AN ORDINARY MAN…

You come in this world
Not knowing what’s waiting
Out there for you

The doctor cuts your cord
Hands you to your mom
Everyone’s happy for you’ve arrived

As she sets you free
With no destination, no map or guide
What you don’t know
Is that nothing matters

For when the time comes
We all end up the same

IN THE EYES OF AN ORDINARY MAN…

Life’s like a circus
Full of clowns and freaks
Everyone with their own facepaint

Some paint themselves
With happy smiles
Some with evil and wicked

Though there is more evil
And there is less good
But if you juggle hard
People will look to you

Because behind the paint
All jugglers be the same

IN THE EYES OF AN ORDINARY MAN…

Life’s like a festival
A festival of carnage
Mass murderers raining their hatchets high

Like a hurricane
Leaving a trail of destruction
This festival comes to your town regularly

Mass murder makes them happy
And happier as they get addicted
Flesh and blood is what they live for
Not knowing that same fate awaits them

Behind their bloody hatchets
They are still all the same

IN THE EYES ON AN ORDINARY MAN…

Life’s like a carnival
With crazy rides, games and sideshows
People come and go, all happy

Mimes acting without saying a word
Jugglers juggling without losing their focus
No one knows, no one cares

People on the top of the ferris wheel
Laugh and scorn at people at the bottom
And when they get to the bottom
Same thing happens to them

They all disdain each other
Even though they’re all the same

IN THE EYES OF AN ORDINARY MAN…

Life’s like a parade
A parade of idiots
Who think they’ll live forever

You ask some questions
You don’t get ‘em all answered
For everyone’s trying to live on

But the time has left you
You’re cold and covered in blood
And the parade has marched over you
Everyone’s happy for they’ve survived

But when the time comes
They’ll all end up the same

IN THE EYES OF AN ORDINARY MAN…

Life has no meaning
But if you transcend beyond what’s ordinary
They meaning of life is very clear
Because for each individual
Life is not always the same

oooh this is good!
I like how you end every verse with 'same', very effective
